Rackham Valkyrie of Alahan




One of Rackham's Valkeyries and a "break" figure for me, a pesonal piece in the midst of a batch of commission figures. She is such a strange looking little creature that it seemed odd to paint her as a human female...hence the blue/greenish skin. With the gold NMM armor, and a touch of freehand work on her shield she also made for a good painting exercise. In person, the armor has much more contrast and is quite striking sitting here on the shelf above my computer. She also has a bit of a sidelong glance that seems to be saying "look friend, you are on my last nerve." ;)
