This miniature was painted after reading Victor Hardy's article on his Golden Demon winner. Though she isn't anything spectacular to look at in photos, in real life, the wash technique he describes has given her a shimmer and depth of color I'd not seen before. As she moves in the light different colors and highlights appear. Cool tech!
