The
beautiful Arwen on foot. The color scheme is true to the
film (and largely GW's version) with the exception of the
plum riding tights color being picked up in the ribbon.
In the movie, her chase dress (worn also here) and ribbons
were of nearly the same color with a shinier, satiny fabric
being used for the ribbons... a subtlety lost on a figure
so tiny, so plum seemed a good choice to tie the color scheme
together.
This was a miniature done as part of a Lord of the Rings
commision. It's the second time I have painted this miniature
and I'm really quite pleased with how she came out. |
